Joe Walsh is currently touring with the Eagles and as a solo act. Joe sent us a great pic of him with his new custom JDB-100, which he's playing on tour. We posted it on the News page. Thanks, Joe!

Bruce picked up some beautiful Zebrawood recently and quickly set to work crafting two custom JBD-100's. We posted images of the guitars on Facebook and had buyers right away.

We weren't sure what response we would get to J. Backlund guitars in custom, exotic woods, but the response has us considering using more exotics in the future.

Joe Walsh's JBD-100 went out last week. We've had several discussions with Joe and his assistant Smokey, and the guitar's a hit.

Sales are up -- and that's great! -- but so are lead times. So, if you want your guitar by Christmas please place your order soon.

Tony took several guitars to Corner Music in Nashville and spent Friday afternoon there. The store was hoppin' and everybody loved the instruments.

After hours, Toddzilla played a black and silver JBD-100 with the band Jonesworld at a gig at the Limelight and rocked the house. There's a video on the J. Backlund channel at YouTube. (FYI: The video editing is a rough cut. We're working on it.)

We were really in our element at the Montreal show. Our designs were very well received, and seen as a fine balance between tradition and the radical. We had a lot of positive comments form attendees and other builders.

We met some of the world's greatest builders there and it was an honor to be in the room with them. The positive comments from builders were a huge validation of what we're trying to do.

Artists who played the guitars commented on how good the ergonomics were, when they thought they wouldn't be — infinitely playable and very comfortable.

Also, we opened a new dealer in Montreal! We'll be posting an updated dealer list soon.

We've posted some videos from the show on YouTube and will have some additional vids later this week.

It was a fantastic NAMM show! We had a great response from everyone, and got a big "thumbs up" from Seymour Duncan and Dean Zelinsky. We have several new dealers in the works.

Guitar Player, Premiere Guitar, and Vintage Guitar magazines have all requested JBD-series guitars for review.

Also, watch for the upcoming video of Yatti playing a JBD-100 and drums at the same time on the Premier Guitar website.

Joe Walsh's JDB-100 is out for finishing, and we're putting the final touches on several additional instruments that we'll be showing at Summer NAMM next weekend.

As you probably know, Summer NAMM is a big guitar show. We've set up a ton of meetings. Should be a great show.

If you're at the show, look us up at booth number 1347.

We're hard at work getting ready for the Summer NAMM show in Nashville. In case you haven't heard, NAMM is open to the public on Sunday this year, so make plans to attend.

Very busy in the shop. Among the instruments in progress, we just set the neck on Joe Walsh's JBD-100.
